Alzheimer's DiseaseAlzheimer’s disease is the most common form of dementia (60-80%), it is followed by vascular dementia (10-25%) and dementia with Levy cells (7-25%). The other forms of dementia are found less often, their number does not exceed 10%. The prevalence of dementia in homes for the elderly accounts for 39 to 87%.
